WEIGHT LOSS WORKSHOP THIS SATURDAY 2/24

The Bikram Yoga for Weight Loss Workshop is coming this Saturday, Feb 24th, from 12 – 2. Studio Owner Hannah Dodson will lead this workshop focussing on increasing the level of intensity in the standing postures of the Bikram Yoga series.  Greater intensity means a higher calorie burn, helping with your weight loss goals for 2018.

Free Class for Your Valentine on Feb. 14th

Bring in your sweetie for a freebie on Valentine’s Day.  If you have a special someone or a friend who is not a regular student, bring them with you to class for free on Feb. 14th!  Join us on any of our 5 classes this Valentine’s Day:  6:30 am, 9:30 am, 11:15 am, 5:15 pm or 6:30 pm.

30 – Day Challenge Extended!

We are excited to announce that we are extending the Challenge to a full 60 days!

For those of you currently doing the 30 – day challenge, keep going!  If you missed out with this one, you can start next week on February 14th!  Also, the “Challenge SALE” will be available to make it easier — just $115 for a full month of unlimited classes.

For the challenge, any Bikram Yoga or Yin Yoga class counts.  You can do 1, 2, or more classes per day if you miss a day!

Bikram Yoga for Weight Loss Workshop

Coming up on February 24, 12:00 – 2:30, with Hannah

How to bring greater physical intensity to the muscle contractions required by each posture.
Greater physical intensity means a higher calorie burn.

We will go through each of the standing postures, with detailed focus on increasing and maintaining intensity.  Time permitting, we will finish the entire Bikram series.

This workshop will be FREE FOR MEMBERS (AutoPay and Annual Unlimited students), and $35 for other students.

It’s STILL January … Is it time to RECOMMIT to your goals?

 

A Word of Encouragement
 
It’s mid January and we are half-way through the 30-Day Challenge. Whether you are doing the Challenge or just starting off your New Year with the intention of doing MORE YOGA, now is the time to dig deep and recommit.  We are here to encourage you.  We understand that this is the point where it starts to get hard. Here are some tips to keep you going:
 
1.  Plan your yoga classes for the week and put them on your calendar
 
2.  Make a date with a friend to go to class together
 
3.  Allow yourself to go easy for a class or two
 
4.  Give yourself a healthy treat for completing class
 
5. Ask your teachers for help, tell us your troubles, whine … it’s okay and we are here for you!
